Description
Title: "Here and There"
Full disclosure! This is a collage of two photographs: One taken in Utah, the other in Texas. Thus the title, "Here and There!"
The rock formation is the majestic Wilson Arch approximately 25 miles outside of Moab in southeastern Utah. Known as Entrada Sandstone, the arch formation is 91 feet wide and 46 feet high.
The moon and clouds were photographed near Dallas, Texas. A line of thunderstorms had just passed through. As the skies cleared, the nearly full moon was visible, rising behind the last remaining clouds which were bright orange, reflecting the late afternoon sunlight.
